Janet Adenike Adebayo (b. 1997, Lagos) is a confessional artist known for her vibrant, introspective paintings that explore self-discovery and consciousness.

Using acrylic, mix media, and her signature "mosaic skin" tones, she creates humanoid figures with exaggerated features, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences. Some of her artworks are presented in a unique scroll format, blending traditional and contemporary techniques.

Adebayo's artistic vision is driven by a passion for storytelling and a desire to spark meaningful connections.

Artist Statement 

My work is a confessional exploration of selfhood, healing, and memory. Using acrylic, mixed media, and my signature “mosaic skin” tones, I create vibrant, exaggerated figures that reflect inner emotional landscapes. Blending traditional formats like scrolls with contemporary techniques, I tell personal and communal stories centered on womanhood, heritage, and consciousness. Each piece invites reflection, aiming to spark honest connection and dialogue. Through my art, I seek to hold space for vulnerability and transformation.
